I am joining up again with A Bowl Full of Lemons for the Organization Revolution. This week we are working on our living area and playroom.
We had a formal dinning room in our house, but decided to change it into a playroom for the kids since we eat all our meals in our kitchen nook. While most of the toys are kept in the playroom, I do keep all the baby toys in the living room since that is where Harriet plays most of the time. I store the toys in baskets under the coffee table. This way when company comes over the toys are neat and tidy.
The living room also has a kids bookcase for the kid puzzles and all their books. I use plastic buckets to keep the books somewhat neat.
Now for the playroom. One corner has the play kitchen with their broom.
The next corner has a keyboard and all their musical instruments.
Then we have a table for the kids, a toy work bench, containers of Legos and Lincoln Logs, and a bookcase with toys.
A close-up of the work bench.
A train table, dry erase board and another shelf of toys.
One final bookcase of toys. I added photo labels on the buckets. You can read about how I made the photo labels here.
I hope you enjoyed checking out my playroom...it isn't always that clean.
